What do you wear right after you give birth?

I need to buy some clothing for immediate post baby and I am going to be breast feeding........I heard maxi dresses are good.  Having csection aug 1 and its really hot here.....what item of clothing can you not live without for breast feeding?

Maxi dresses are great as long as they're easy access to your breasts, some of them are tougher to get to then others.

I pretty much lived in sweat pants/gym shorts and tank tops for the first few weeks.

I have not had a c-section but I was most comfortable in nursing tanks and yoga style pants or shorts.

Dark bottoms. I was more concerned with the lochia than getting my boobs out. I didn't even need nursing pads in the hospital (but needed them like crazy 3 days later).

Yoga pants or sleep pants and nursing tanks
