How long is fresh pumped milk good for in the fridge? Does it matter if its in a storage bottle or bag? I've read and heard a couple different answers. Thanks mamas :)

Max 8 days in the back of the fridge, not the door.

Thanks! I have about 9 oz from last Saturday and was about to be so bummed if it wasn't good anymore!

Personally, if it doesn't get used today, I would put it it 2-3 oz containers (however you freeze it) and put it in the freezer.

You can taste it too. If it tastes off, your going to have to dump it. If it tastes sweet-like sugary milk from cereal, than its still ok.

about a week.  store in the back of the fridge, I don't think it matters of whether it's in a bottle or bag :-)

Anywhere from 5-8 days. Check it. If it still smells and tastes good, I would separate it into single portions (2-3 ounces) and put it in the freezer.
