Eveyone I have known started there's around 6 or 7 months. I thought thats when most people started. I didn't realize you can go that long thank you for sharing that with me.
Quoting CorCrox:I got mine at about 7 months and felt totally ripped off. Lol. I have a few friends who went as long as 18 months.
I knew a woman who was period-free for a decade. Three babies in that time. Just because your period isn't back doesn't mean you're not fertile so if you don't want to be pregnant, take precautions.
You are all SO lucky! I nursed on demand (literally it was 24/7) and both times I got my period back by 5-6 weeks... :( (I even pumped inbetween feedings because I overproduce a TON, like 7-8 ounces...) No clue why I was so unlucky.
Depends on the person. I got mine back 5 weeks PP with both my boys even though I EBF and never gave them bottles. I was very upset...lol But my mom said she didn't have her period for almost 2 years with breastfeeding one of her kids.
