Confused about my period?

Today is day 44 and no period. I took a test 6 days ago and it was negative. I had my first period after baby April 10th at 8 months old, then another on May 17, and lastly June 17 all lasting 7 days. No period though here in July. I have no idea what my cycle length is or what's going on.

I'm very confused!! Any help? Any idea if this is normal or how to get back to a normal period without using bc. Please any advice or help would be great! Also I have always had a normal period even after babies(this is my fourth).

Everytime can be different especially as we get older. Sometimes it can take awhile for your body to get back on "track" after baby. It took a year last time for me. I never had that issue before. If you become too worried about it maybe talk to your Ob/gyn. Good luck!

My cycles are between 17 and 45 days. Unfortunately, irregular can be very "normal" while breastfeeding. Hormones. :-(

Wait a month and try the test again? Sometimes it's normal not to be regular.

To *me* 44 days *is* a normal cycle. So's 38 days and 50 days. This 28 day stuff is for the birds! **grin** I never had what's termed a "normal" period till after I gave birth.

This may be your new normmal. This is where charting your cycle will really help; you'll always know when your period is coming.

I'm three years pp and still no regular periods. I'll bleed for an hour here and there, but there is no regularity to it.
