My son is 1.5 years old. I'm done nursing. Its been a day and a half and I'm soooo engorged and in so much pain. What can I do? I have done ice packs and cabbage and they didn't help. I took ibuprofen too.

How did you wean? Safest way to wean is to drop one feeding per week. If you're absolutely sure you're done, atleast hand express just enough to take the edge off and to hopefully reduce the risk of clogged ducts and mastitis.

It definitely sounds like you weaned too quickly. When you go slow enough you shouldn't get engorged or have pain. You might need to start pumping and taper from the pumping, cutting one session a week until you're done. At this stage you are running the risk of developing mastitis.
