My girls are preemies born at 28 weeks. they are already a month old now and already 3 lbs each when they were only 2 lbs each when they were born. they are in the nicu in the hospital and its so hard to do the things i need to like pumping and breastfeeding with being able to only hold them during certain times. its very stressful .

hugs to you. congrats on them gaining a pound. maybe hold a stuffed animal or something special to make it easier to pump then give to them when they get older. good luck mama

Stay strong! Your own milk is uniquely tailored for their premature systems. It is the very best thing they can have, and only you can provide it. Hugs!

Hang in there! It's hard but it'll be worth it. My dd1 was born at 30 weeks. I totally get where you're coming from. It's hard, and it sucks, but it's so worth it.

Have you joined the preemie group on here?
