NB question? time feeding or feed on demand?

I was trying hard to time her feedings to make sure she is getting enough milk. At least 15 minutes on each breast.. but my little one eats from one breast and then falls asleep into a deep sleep and is completely full from just eating from one side. So I try to feed her more frequently if she wants.

She is gaining weight, and has enough wet and poop diapers. So I feel I'm doing it right. But sometimes she just eats ten minutes from one side and then I feel like that's not enough. ..

Feed only on demand.  Smash clocks.

Sounds like you're doing great.

On demand. Unless she is not making enough diapers you are better off going by her. There were times when ds was good for a few hours after nursing for five minutes, and there were times when he'd nurse from both sides and come back for more.

Only on demand. The diaper count tells the story--you are both perfect!

Never time. On demand.

The way my lo works, she nurses sometimes one side only, knocks out. Other times she cluster feeds (usually during growth.spurts) and keeps on wanting to nurse back and forth. I always fed mine on demand.

If baby has gone back up to birth weight and making diapers, let baby set the schedule for when and how long to eat.

Sometimes my baby will nurse over thirty minutes on each side, other times ten on just one side and done!

Feed on demand, some babies get fuller faster

Watch your baby, not the clock :)

No timing, just feed on demand.
