Am I safe?

My son is 11 months old and still breastfeeding about 4 times a day. I have been pumping at work twice from 7:30-3:30, but I'm wanting to go to only once because I work in a kindergarten classroom and its hard to get away to pump twice. This means I would pump at 1:30. Will this effect my supply or will it be ok since my son is so old?

You'll be fine. Heck, I stopped pumping altogether at one year. Nursed to 26 months.

This. I stopped pumping at 1 year and nursed for 3 years!

You should be fine.  I teach as well and only pump once a day.  I am still nursing my 3 year old and 1.5 year old.  Just make sure you nurse asap after school and right before drop off in the morning.

Good luck!

My little guy turns 1 tomorrow and I only pumped once a day starting when he was about 8 months old and then a few weeks ago I stopped all together. He still nurses frequently when we are home. I used the same tactic with my older son and he nursed untilhe was 27 months.
