So I am a vegetarian and I am also planning on EBF. Is there anything I need to add to my diet or get more of since I do not eat meat? I assume more protien, of course but how much more?

I don't think your diet makes a difference. Stat hydrated :)

I'd keep taking your prenatal vitamin. Baby will get needed nutrients but you might not.

If you are a healthy veggie, you are fine :)
I was a full vegetarian until about 3 months pp this time, then I added back a bit of fish and chicken because I just am sooo freakin hungry!
He's 5 months now, I'll go back to full veg when he's about a year.
How long have you been a veg? I was only veg for about 6 months before getting pregnant this time. If you're better at it, you don't need anything extra.
I'm tandeming two boys and just didn't have enough easy recipes to get enough calories.

Yes, but I think no matter what your diet, you should continue your prenatal as long as you're nursing.

I have been a a vegetarian since about 2005. I get amazing reciepes from Sparkpeople.com. My husband and daughter aren't. I actually have medical reasons that force me to be a vegetarian

Nothing you really need to add.

Stay hydrated. I'm a nursing vegetarian too! No problems here!

Drink lots of water and eat--I'm a vegan breastfeeder for over 20 months.
