growth spurts??

When are they? Lil man had a 3 week growth spurt, an now he's 5.5 weeks an been nursing all day. I'm thinking another growth spurt, so when do they usually happen?

1.5 weeks, 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 18 months, and 22 months were the really big ones here.

Pretty much!  That little tiny baby has to grow into a pretty big person.  Imagine if you were going to triple your weight and double your height in one year.... that's a LOT of growing!

Growth spurts can happen at any time. Here, they were weekly starting at one week. This stage is constant growth spurt mode because the babies grow so much during the first few months.

Pretty much all the time with no set schedule that first year. Its so frequent that it all seemingly runs together. Cluster feeding generally happens right BEFORE the growth so the milk is ready to support metabolic needs DURING growth.

3,6,9 weeks and 3,6,9 months usually--but babies can't count, lol!

Around here:  1 week, 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, 4 months, 6 months, 8 months, 9 months...so far for us.
