Help! Should I keep breast feeding?

My son is 4 months old & solely breastfed. I had a BK burger at supper & now my tummy hurts so badly :( I guess food poisoning. Should I BF my son? I am scared. What should I feed him?

Yes you should keep breastfeeding him. He'll be fine. Feel better and drink lots of fluids.

Yes, feed him. It sucks when we are sick to keep having to care for others so take care of yourself and feel better, but you won't make him sick. Those antibodies are a powerful thing.

Yes, continue. Food poisoning affects you, not him.

Even if you have food poisoning, you can't pass it through breastmilk. Keep nursing and do your best to prevent yourself from getting dehydrated.

For you: a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and a tablespoon of honey in eight ounces of water, cool or warm. Sip slowly, repeat as needed. I've used this for food poisoning myself, and stomach bugs too.

Your milk will be fine, keep breastfeeding.  Make sure you stay hydrated.
