Nursing a toddler when pregnant with twins

This was posted in an fb group I am in and I said I would ask here:

Anyone still breastfeeding their baby/toddler when pregnant with twins? I have less than a year gap between giving birth and conceiving twins & I'm not a young mum. I'm worried about depriving the growing twins because of continuing breastfeeding. Any reassuring advice?

Keeping yourself well fed and hydrated will take care of that. You can set limits on how much your toddler nurses at this stage. You would only have to stop if you began having contractions prematurely.

I'm not pregnant with twins unfortunately but the concept is the same regardless of how manny babies are in there. As long as mom eats and drinks enough and generally takes good care of herself everyone will be fine.
