my baby boy is 7 weeks old and i am exclusively breastfeeding, he is doing very well with it, and i really enjoy the bonding experience!  however, i just returned to work, i work two nights a week, working 12 hr shifts, and i pump when i am at work, but when i pump, i can get about 5-6 oz on the right breast, but only about 2-3 oz on the left breast.  is this normal? should i be concerned or speak to my doctor about this?

Holy moly that's a lot. Normal output is half an ounce to two ounces TOTAL both sides. It's OK. In the early weeks you'll get lots. It will change. Nothing to bother the doc with here.

Be aware baby needs 1 - 1.25 ounces for every hour you're gone, so 12-15 ounces for your workday.

When I pumped with my first two sons, my right breast would always produce more milk than the left usually by several ounces.
