Possible infection?

DD has been teething & my right nipple has been sore from her chomping. I put on some creme & continued to feed her as usual... while pumping tonight at work I've noticed my right side has a yellowish tint to it, enough that I could see it in a white sink, & has a salty taste to it. Is this the start of an infection, or? Has anyone else experienced this?

Thank you ladies!

Infections don't come out in the milk. There might have been some pus (it's the same stuff as in your milk).

I had mastitis a few weeks ago,but it started with a red streak. It never hurt's to get checked. You don't need that pain.:)

My dd took a chunk out of me.  It's still healing. Seems exactly as you describe.  I just keep putting coconut oil on it as well as soaking in epson salt.
