I posted in here about DS being diagnosed with ftt and a milk protein allergy. Since then, I chose to go solely on formula to get him to grow. He was 3 months and 6lbs 3oz. At 6 months tomorrow, he should be close to 12lbs. He was almost 11 lbs almost 4 weeks ago.

So, he's been fine on Nutramigen. That still contains milk that is easier to digest. I would like to go back to bfing him. Obviously, I would need to cut out dairy. How diligent do I need to be? Do I really need to cut bread and stuff? I think I'm okay with soy. This is new to me.

The only way to know how diligent to be is to merely do it, unfortunately. He could be completely past it and you can disregard all dairy concerns. Or he may be hypersensitive and you cannot have any dairy at all.
