Weaning advice please

My daughter is 14 months old and I would like to wean her by 18 months. She still nurses 6-8 times a day and eats many small meals throughout. Any advise on making the gradual transition? I think she thinks of my boobs as a pacifier so I know this will be hard.

You drop one feeding per week. Until they're all gone.

This but it won't be tear free  since you're initiating it. Since she's past one you can continue but limit it.

Google baby-led weaning. Much easier. Nursing beyond the first year also helps fill in nutritional gaps that occur during the toddler stages.
