You don't need to, but many don't know what to look for in regards to supply and mistakenly think their supply is low when it is not.

Ok i was wondering because people said they were eating lactation cookies. mothers milk tea and fenugreek to increase their supply for no reason. would that make baby want to take in more food? IM tas big engorged but i think its because Autumns not wanting to nurse for long time but more frequently like a newborn

Some people think that fullness and engorgement are necessary for a full supply. They freak out when their supply regulates and their breasts become soft and floppy.
