Estrogen and breast feeding

Posted by   + Show Post
My dr has prescribed me Vagifem which is an estrogen tablet inserted into the vagina. She has assured me that it is safe to use while breast feeding but I trust you ladies with that information far more than a woman who receives kick backs. Anyone know anything about it? Better rt, anyone here ever USE it? Any help would be much appreciated!

dryness and things while BFing is pretty darn common, especially if baby is EBF and period has not returned.  As baby gets older you should have less issues, I know this doesnt help NOW. I wouldnt use the estrogen because I refuse to use formula if it hurt supply, I also find estrogen too risky personally.  Ask if there are any alternatives
