Am I extra contagious?

Ok so this is probably a really silly question. I woke up with a terrible cold, stuffy nose, body aches, etc. Is my dd more likely to catch whatever I have since she is nursing and spends so much time with me?

No. She's actually less likely to get it because your milk has antibodies to fight what you have.

Phew! Thank you! I know that was probably a really dumb question. I'm a new mom :)

The only dumb question is the one not asked. This stuff is learned over time. It used to be passed through the generations of women. Now it has to be relearned and this group is our way of teaching each other.
