We have successfuly completed our first week of using bottles while pumping and EBF at daycare! Whoo hoo! Linley and I did a little dance at home after work tonight. Surprisingly, I actually have enough bottles to last her an entire month at daycare, no joke (the bottles came free with four cans of formula and three NICU stays).

But how do ya'll steralize? Hot water and soap? Boiling Water? Dishwasher? (My dishewasher died last week *tear*) How do you do it?

Washed in the sink, sterilized in boiling water afterwards.

Congrats on surviving the first week!

If I can't use the dishwasher, I also use soap and water and then boil.

I use the sterilizer steam bags and pop em in the microwave. Of course soap and water before.

I just washed them the way I do my normal dishes. I think I sterilized them ONCE and never again.

I sterilized them when I first got them, in the medela sterilizing bags. After that, I usually just do soap and water.

I feel like I answered this already, but there's nothing there.
I boil them before I use them for the first time, if they're in storage or left somewhere.
Otherwise I just wash them in the sink like I wash all of the other dishes. I dry them in the drain board upside down.

You're not crazy. I posted in both Babies and Breastfeeding Moms. Thanks :)

I used hot water and white vinegar to rinse--it also removed any soap residue.
