Parenting Book Recommendations

A little off topic but...I'm a first time Mom and my baby turns one next week. Do any of you have any parenting book recommendations? I was interested in maybe reading something about attachment parenting but it seems like those might all be for parents of new babies? I'm looking more for things specific to my almost toddler. Thoughts?

Thanks ladies!

No, attachment parenting goes on, just takes different forms than literal attachment. Look up Dr. Sears.

Anything by Dr. Sears is good, but really there's a lot of "keep it up" involved.

Dr Sears has a terrific line of parenting books, not just for babies, but also older children.

Dr. Sears books, "the happiest baby on the.block, or the happiest kid on the block etc.

Other books I like are books by Tedd Tripp, and my new favorite is "Grace Based Parenting".

I'm another Dr. Sears' "Baby Book" believers. My copy is so well loved it's falling apart and held together with black electricians tape.
