My newborn has a side preference. She won't really nurse on my left, it's flatter (maybe harder to latch on to?), it also has a much slower flow. We're working with a chiropractor to help with the side preference since it is a neck issue from birth. She had an adjustment yesterday and will now tolerate a few minutes on that side. I hand express and have pumped that side to reduce engorgement but not enough to over stimulate it since she's not taking that side well. She makes plenty of diapers and was only 2.5oz below birth weight at her 4 day check up. Is there anything I can do to bulk up lefty's flow to help interest her more on that side?

You can try massage and compressions to get the milk flowing more for her.

Yep, I agree. And I think chiropractis will definitely help as well.

Most women have a side that produces more. It's like being right or left handed.

Pump from that side several times a day to keep up supply/demand so once baby is adjusted that breast is ready to meet babys needs. Your doing great just keep offering it.
