tuna?

Can I feed my 8 month old daughter tuna packed in water from a can, I cant find anything about it on feeding solids.

This is what I found.

What are Some Good Table Foods to Start With: ü
Start with small bits of soft fruit such as bananas or vegetablesü Mashed potatoesü Well- cooked mashed vegetablesü Yogurtü Canned, drained tuna or salmon (no bones)ü Mashed or refried beansü

 

Mashed egg yolk (wait until at least a year of age before introducing egg whites--baby may have an allergy to egg white)

Our pediatrician said absolutely NO fish before a year old. She said it can cause serve allergies to it later in life. The nutritionist at WIC said the same thing so ask your doctor first.

i was told tuna was just fine, its shellfish you have to worry about.  ask your pedi if you arent sure.
