I'm at a loss.....my 9 1/2 month old is becoming increasingly uninterested in his 2 afternoon feedings. I've been nursing in the AM, before lunch, before dinner and before bed. He's taking good solid intake and refuses the cup. He gets about 2 bottles a week for daddy.
He never has the same day twice, so forget any type of definitive schedule (which is fine by both of us).
Is he getting to the point where he only wants to nurse 3x a day? Can I do this when he's not taking a cup?

Are you offering solids separate from nursing? They should not be offered as their own meal. They are "dessert" after nursing. Solids are for experimentation in the first year.
Next mealtime, see what happens when you nurse first.
Three times a day is low, and I'd be concerned about constipation.
