I have tried solids with my lmost 7 month old daughter but it doesnt seem like a sucess can I wait a couple months to start solids?

my MIL said that some of her breastfed kids didnt eat solids until they were over a year old...your daughter will eat solids whenever she is ready

Yes, you can wait. What did you try to give her? Maybe in a few weeks/a month try something new to give her.

 Babies don't NEED solids for nutrition until about a year old.  They are for experimentation with new tastes and textures before that so if your baby doesn;t want to eat them, it's perfectly fine.  http://www.kellymom.com/nutrition/solids/index.html
