See what CafeMoms are saying about saving time this holiday season..
Ok, not necessarily about breastfeeding. As you can tell by my ticker, that clicked a long time ago. What I'm talking about is sign language. Ever since my son was a couple months old, I've been signing at him. I signed the ABC's, his name, milk, and a bunch of other stuff. I've really been stressing "milk" since he started pulling at my shirt when he wants to nurse.
He's been playing the name game with me. I'd sign/say "L-O-G-A-N" spells "LOGAN!!!" and tickle his belly. And he'll sit there and move his hand, not making any letters but flipping it back and forth, and "say" the letters (usually about 3 or 4 of them) and then point to himself. Two days ago, we were working "more" with him and suddenly it clicked for him. In two days he's picked up "more", "milk", "thank you", and he's attempted "please". It won't be long before he'll be a signing pro.
