burning pain when nursing...?

I get a burning pain when i am nursing my dd.. its close to my rib cage and its on the side under the nipples. (the nurse said against the chest wall..?) anyway I cant get in to be seen until tomorrow and its hurts like hell. does anyone know what this is. she said it could be a yeast infection.. how in the world? anyway what can i do to help the pain when nursing. it burns like freaking hell!!

please help me!!
