UMM THIS IS MY FIRST DUTY STATION BUT I DID GROW UP NEXT TO A HORRABLE MARINE BASE LOL I COULD WAIT TO GET AWAY............

im not actually IN yet..we have been waiting for a waiver since DEC.2008 but the hubs has been to basic before...and what i like about it was the insurance was really great.

 

my question is: how long have you been an army wife?....and do you like it?

Well, I haven't been a army for that long, But i like it. Its what you make out of it. and I feel that only the strongest can deal with being a Army wife. Me & my finance vowed that we are not going to let the Army come between our relationship / family. With that said its alright, I dont expect nothing more or nothing less from the army, and the changes never shock me.

MY LEAST FAVORITE THING IS THE 24 HR CQ DUTY AND THE HIGHER UPS DAT GIVE MY HUBBY SH*T FOR NO APPARENT REASON.

Yes, well actually both of his NCO's. the one at his last duty station and this one. They are both single soldiers who are both you know whats. I wish I could run them over with my car! lol.

i havent become an "official" army wife yet. hubby is still trying to get in. he goes to MEPS thursday to find out when he goes to basic and everything. but i guess i  would say the hurry and wait...i've heard that happens a lot..and we have been waiting for what seems like forever. lol.

He's a 68 W. The hurry up and wait is down to a fine art in the Army. It's just the way it is. Just be prepared and organized so when you need to move etc you are ready!!!
