My Children
My children are my gifts from God;
My life without them would be odd.
De'Shaun is my first born child;
A little crazy, a little wild.
His big brown eyes and his gorgeous smile;
He's my baby boy, he makes me proud.
Then there's Taizya, my baby girl;
My precious angel who completes my world.
Her curly hair and attitude;
A little sassy but never rude.
I wouldnt trade them for anything;
Not money, not gold, not even for a diamond ring.
My children are my life you see;
But the best thing of all, is they call me MOMMY!!!

I COULDN'T BECAUSE THERE ISN'T A WORD FOR THAT KIND OF FEELING
YOUR TOUCH IS MORE THAN A TOUCH
YOUR KISS IS MORE THAN A KISS
YOUR HUG IS MORE THAN A HUG
AND YOUR LOVE IS EVERYTHING

I WROTE THIS FOR MY KIDS. I KNOW SOME OF YOU WERE THINKING KINDA DIRTY HUH??? LMAO!!! I KNOW I WOULD HAVE JUST READING THE FIRST FEW LINES.
"Time"
I've loved before but not like this.
Its an emotion that hasn't been named,
but one that cant be dismissed.
You told me the night I met you that it was more than you expected.
I wasn't sure what to say because i was afraid of being rejected.
The next couple days came and i wrote you a letter.
" Can i be the only One you whisper to" your reply never sounded better.
From there you put me on a pedestal I was scared of falling off.
You said not to worry, if you do I'll be at the bottom to catch you.
I've never depended on anyone before.
Then this gorgeous guy gives me the option for more.
Learning how to bend, and learning how to fall,
was so easy when i look back back on it all.
From me telling you how i feel, so you wouldn't get away,
to realizing how far we've come since that day.
A year and some months later I couldn't have picked a husband greater.
We found out unexpectedly that we were expecting,
but you were never so happy to be so excepting.
A little girl name Cali Shae is on the way,
A thousand miles from were you are,
but if you close your eyes you will never have to look too far.
With me here behind you, you'll never be alone.
I'm living for letters and a phone call home.
Just know that I love you and I'm filled with pride,
and FOREVER and ALWAYS I'll stand by your side.

My heart drummed out a thunder beat; I glowed with joy from my head to my feet
The hand of heaven touched my soul, as the bell of destiny began to toll the tide of love began to rise
When I first looked into your eyes
When I first looked into your eyes the world was filled with summer skies
My sadden clouds of cold and grey glowed with gold, then wisped away
A brilliant rainbow arched across
As waves of love began to toss
The air was filled with love bird cries
When I first looked into your eyes
All time and space were paralyzed between us lay infinity
And in that instant, I was shown
A universe I had never known
I dwell there still, in paradise
When I look into your eyes

I write poems for my wonderful boyfriend when we are notgoetehr to show him how I feel. I started sending them thru emails when he was in Iraq even though I am not that good at it. They come for the heart and to me thats all that matters!!!
HEre is the first one!~ Since the Day We Met
I remember the Day we met,Both shy but wanted to talk,
Even when we tried,We Didn't know what to say?
Day by Day,We Took it slow,And our conversations began to grow...
Since the day our conversations grew,I became very fond of you,
Hoping you felt fond of me too,Every Night that we talk,I feel more and more happier that I have met you!
I know that one is corny and short but that was the first ever poem I ever wrote lol
Here is the last and it was longer ~
When I first met you
I felt like I had known you forever,
telling you my secrets
and what I didn't want ever.
you listened to me
I bet you thought I'd never end,
who would have thought
we would become more than just friends.
Over a period of time,
I got to know the real you.
A man so caring and gentle,
with a heart so true.
You've survived your life
with hurt and loneliness by your side.
I told you I'd never leave
because of the feelings I have inside.
I know you
like no one I have ever known,
and sometimes I wonder
what I'd do if you were gone?
So I have decided
time answers all.
If it is meant to be
time will remove this WALL.
I love the way we are together,
you can always make me smile.
Will it ever really be forever?
I guess I will have to wait awhile.
Time will reveal, what lies ahead
but always remember
what I have said.
Meeting you has changed my life
and I am fallin in love with you so,
the feelings I feel for you
I am letting them grow.
Remember me always
and I will too.
