I was reading how successful these are in promoting hair growth and strengthening/thickening. I haven't pulled anything in since maybe, I don't know when! I'm so relieved how I've been able to not pull in so long that I can't even remember when the last time was (I think it has to be almost a year). But the hairs on my eyebrows just aren't growing in like I thought. =( They have grown enough to start filling in the bald spot I had, but man, they are SOOOOO sparse. They've grown enough to the point where I can actually not have any brow filler on around my husband, but I would NEVER go out unless I fill them in. For once, I would like to not have to worry about the pool water not washing them off or would like to have the option of not filling them in if I didn't want to.
So today, I ordered a little bottle of some silk amino acids and will be heading out to the store today to get a bottle of castor oil as well. In all the forums and articles I read, they said that they are the best 'natural' way to stimulate hair growth and regrowth, and thicken/strengthen the hair you have. You can put a drop or capful into your mascara tube and mix it up and it'll help your lashes grow!I didn't read one negative review or outcome with this! I am going to be using this stuff on my brows and saying a prayer that they fill in. I don't want to have to buy brow pencil/shadow the rest of my life!

Aug 18 update
I've been using the silk amino acids now for a couple weeks and the castor oil for maybe 3 weeks. I can see more little hairs starting to grow in the sparse areas... just a little, but enough to give me hope!
The SAA I ordered online from www.organic-creations.com.

What I did was buy the E.L.F. Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara from Target. It's double ended. One end for brows and one for eyelashes. It was only $1! I put several drops of the SAA in each side and I put it on at night and the eyebrow one also during the day. I mix in castor oil at night too, or swap it out every other night.
My existing eyebrow hair seem to be growing in faster. It's going to take several more weeks to really see results sue to how slow hair can grow, but I'm staying positive.
I'll start posting weekly pictures. -crosses fingers-
Quoting organized1:
Let me know how it goes. I have been considering permanent make-up tattoo for my eyebrows. I know they have to be touched up periodically. Has anyone done that?
I definitely will. The SAA should be here later this week. It says it takes about 4 weeks to see results. 4 weeks is fine for me, as long as there's hair growing!!!
