Hi. My name is Charity. I'm 23 and have been pulling since I was 14. I just recently founf out what my condition was. I was in shock. I didn't know how real this disorder was or that other people were just like me. I mostly pull at scalp hair. Sometimes my eyebrows or eyelashes. I found a local support group through yahoo groups. I've gone only once but it made me feel so alive. Like I'm not suffering alone, so I don't need to feel alone.
Anyways, I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm glad that cafe mom has a trich group.
Welcome to our group! Isn't it nice to find out you are not alone? I was shocked when a friend told me she had this and then explained what it was called. I thought I was just strange and had no willpower. Keep learning about it. They are finding out new things all of the time.
