I am feeling crummy...and nervous...and extremely worried. It is bad enough that we lost the presidency but on top of that the Dems have the Senate and the House...I feel like we are about to be painfully screwed over and over again for the next four years. Get ready for tax hikes and social healthcare. Is anyone aware of how bad the healthcare in Canada is? And yet all these people voted for Obama...its like they are sheep...happily following a shepard puppet off a cliff. *come on little sheep...its only a small cliff...doodoododoo* My state passed the embyonic stem cell bill...that's just lovely. The one thing Michigan needed was a tax hike for a research they have proven does not work as well as adult stem cells...Now even more residents can walk to the welfare office and sign on up because there are no jobs and already high taxes. Obama is going to tax the crap out of any company that makes more than a quarter million and he is calling anyone who makes less than that a small business. But most small businesses gross more than 250,000/yr. My husband works for one...I am feeling that they will stay in business another year or so if we are lucky. So, again, how is everyone feeling this morning? Rather like you are being flushed down a toilet?
I went out this morning to put my son on the bus and was greeted with an Obama sign on my front door. Mind you, whoever put it there had to come into my yard, past the McCain signs, and up 10 steps to get to on my porch and put it there. Trespassing? Shoving it in my face? Yeah, I think we can all see exactly how gracious and bi-partisan the next 4 (please God, only 4) years will be.
If they come on my property again, I'll blow someone's brains out. My Dh is in Iraq right now fighting for these people and this is what we get because we chose a different candidate?
Unfortunately, we're getting what we deserve. John McCain was the best the Republicans could come up with? I trust that in the next 2 years we can find someone more Conservative than John, maybe Sarah? She would get my vote. Conservatives had better pull their heads out of the sand and start standing up and fighting for what we believe in. As for how I'm feeling about the state of things today? I'm sad. People voting based on race either because he's black (only half) or because they are afraid of being called a racist if they don't vote for him, sad. Change? What's going to change? The ignorant will still be ignorant, only now they will have more entitlements being handed to them, and the rest of us will have to work ever harder than we already do to barely survive. Where's my handout?!!

I saw a forum asking 'What should Obama focus on first?' and I am thinking gee, he made so many promises where can he start? The economy? He should start there since he has the magical answer...all I can think is there must be a light at the end of the tunnel. Just pray he does not change things to the extent that they cannot be undone...
My Husband also works for one of these Small businesses, grossing over 250k... Every Liberal I talk to about this say "it's over 250k income, not businesses"... It infuriates me to no end and I reply, "Do you know what CAPITAL GAINS TAX is??"... I think alot of people voted for him bc it was "COOL" not bc they actually knew what he was talking about.
Did anyone see how the Black Panthers blocked the polling doors with sticks, to intimidate the voters into voting for Obama? Can you believe that?? Do they know that he may only be in for 4 yrs, unless he can be impeached sooner... he may not win the next one...
What worries me is that these extreme Left groups, and groups such as the "Black Panther" wont want his term to EVER end... And you know they are all "FOR PEACE and LOVE", unless you are against them.

Oh I'm still so very sick over the whole thing. I can't believe how blind the majority of the people in the US are. And what's crazy is that people I work with are trying to shove it in my face after they spent three weeks calling me a stupid republican racist. UGH.... so now I'm worried about money. The one small hope I have is that my hubbs and I are both in the healthcare field, so hopefully there is some job security there. But who knows. Oh... and to add to my worry about the healthcare thing... guess who just found out she's pregnant this morning.
