I didn't want Obama to win for many reasons...one of the most important is his lack of experience. At this very critical time for America we needed someone like Mccain with experience to lead us. Regardless the race is over and Senator Obama will be our next president. Now we all have reason to believe Obama is gonna do many things that we feel will hurt America but I choose to judge him by his actions instead of his words as he has not take office and done any of the things he said he would...yet. One thing I couldn't stand is the way Bush was treated thoughout his time in office. He could do no right no matter what. People were so mad about how he won in '00 that they pretty much vowed to never give him a shot and that was unfair. The Congress hated Bush so much they would never work with him no matter how hard he tried. The media hated him so much they hardly ever reported anything positve on him although he has done much to be proud of. I truly believe America is safer today thanks to him. But anywho point is that I believe we should all be bigger to Obama than they were to Bush and give him a chance. I am an American first before a republican and I will back up my President until he gives me reason to be doubtful. I pray for Obama and I want him to succeed his failure is America's failure and thats something I dont want to see. Noone should. I hope he will govern to the center and not to the looney left because he may have already made history becoming the first black president but he can make history also by being one of the first presidents to truly put partisan aside and govern for the sake of all Americans and be as he said my and your president too. God bless Obama and God bless America!

I do agree as far as comparing the treatment of Bush to how Obama will be treated.  I dont like Hipocracy either, but that doesnt mean we aren't entitled to our Freedoms of speach, and to think for ourselves... just as those who opposed Bush were entitled to think what they like about him, no matter if there were also those who approved of him.

The thing I worry about, is that to me, there is no comparison... There are no videos on the Web of anyone WORSHIPPING BUSH... There is a video out there of Children singing of Praise to Obama... IN A CLASS!!!  That targets a fear in me far greater than just defeat of our Party...  this is how Hitler started, and I do believe it is Obama's intention to keep his status of "Messiah", so that the people of this country are crippled to speak out against him.

He's also talking of building a "Civilian Army", to fight "Terrorism"... and this "Army" will recieve the same amount of Funding as our US Military.... Can anyone say, "BROWN SHIRTS", and "HITLER YOUTH".... this is where dimocracy dies, with these radical liberals running our Congress and commanding office, making everyone "Believe" they are getting everything they "Want", while taking away our Rights and Liberty.

This is not just a new Party taking over, this is the beginning of something far more frightening.  This is a new day and age than when Carter was in the same boat as Obama now... the left wants to make/change our constitutional rights and ammendments and allow things that I believe even a Carter administration, and left wing congress would have found "too liberal"... and quite frankly, disgusting.

I say get out your opinions as much as you can NOW, bc you just never know where this Obama administration is going to take us, and I, For one, will not just surrender my beliefs to this man, nor will my Son EVER WORSHIP HIM, or ANY Political Figure.

I will pray for all of our families that we get through all that will be laid in our Path through this new and extreme Administration.

God Bless,

Theresa
