Normally I am not too crazy about videos and websites for kids. I am a little bit old school and think that children need to spend their time playing and exploring instead of plugged in to a computer or TV set, but I am also not one to throw out the baby with the bathwater.
I have had the chance to try out a few videos and websites for my alphabet activities series and discovered that there are some good learning tools out there. Heck, I even let my preschooler, who has never touched a computer before in her entire life, have my old computer to play on Starfall.
I looked at the Preschool Prep Company series, Leap Frog's Letter Factory and Starfall. Here is what I thought:
