Where does someone who was raised in a very dysfunctional household learn how to raise their kids?
I am talking about myself and DH. We were both abused mentally and emotionally and still are (a little) to this day by our own parents. We go to church and try to raise out kids the right way but we did not have any guidance from our parents so we are just so lost.
Any ideas on where to start other than attending church(we do attend but we are both really shy and thats all we do is attend)

I'm with u, I have no idea where to start either... my lifes been hard & God was never heard of. We take our kids to church but seriously I have no idea how I'm suppose to raise them the right way, kwim?
