Do you know if public school/Elementary schools have preschool ? My child will be 4 in December... I heard that children can go to preschool free or a minimum charge at their countys Elementary school after 4.However the parents need to save a spot before time.
Is there any such thing?
yes but your child may not make the cut off date alot of schools its sep here its aug 1st my dd is a nov baby so she cant go cuz she wont be 4 by aug 1st
Yes, many elementaries offer a 4 year old Pre-K program. The cut-off dates for starting differ depending on where you live. Call your local elementary or district number for your area and ask. There are various guidelines that qualify someone. This includes income OR things like pre-mature birth, history of early speech therapy and others.
Preschool varies by school districts, and it income based. Most public preschools are for low income families, and yes there are limited spaces so it is usually 1st come 1st serve.
I know the one here has Pre-K. But it does cost, unless you qualify, making less than a certain amount.
