Disappointed in People Magazine

I couldn't agree more!!

Oh yeah, did you see that they want to adopt a child from Korea?  SERIOUSLY??!!?!?!  Who in their right mind would sign the paperwork to agree to let them adopt another child?!?!?!

I must have missed that they want another one.  IMO, Kate is a horrible mother.  She has people do everything for her.  Why would she want another one?

i actually really like their show.. it amuzes me!! i think any mother of 8 needs all the help she can get! and would you mind getting paid to do a show? i don't think so :) i don't know why they would want to adopt though!! thats just crazy talk!!!  who in their right mind?!

I hate how Kate treats her husband so I stopped watching it.  She can be a real bitch.

First of all, I'd like to see how any other mother would do trying to raise 8 children!  Yes, I agree tht sometimes it seems like she can be kinda anal but Jon can also be rather rude to her.  But most of all, keep in mind  tht we only see 22  minutes of their lives per episode and that is highly edited.  we see what the producers want us to see.  As far as having a bunch of people help them, I say more power to them.  If I hadto run a household and raise 8 children, if people wanted to help you can damn sure bet I would let them help.  I understand  that they do have a housekeeper that comes a couple of times a month but I'm pretty sure that everyone else that helps volunteer.  They aren't forcing anyone to help, people are just being kind and it seems to me that they are very appreciative.  I say good for them.  At least someone on this post suports them and loves their show.  Their youngest 6 were born on my B-day and they are 4 and so is my son.

I happen to LOVE the them and I don't think they are profitting off of their children - I think they have simply choosen a path that works for them, for their family.  Listen, I have 3 kids and I can't even think straight!  We have to practically live paycheck to paycheck these days and we NEVER can afford a nice vacation, much less anything else - SO - these people have 8 kids - what they have choosen has allowed them (probably) enough money for a lonnnnnnng time, they get to go places and do things that the would NEVER be able to do. I don't know - I might do the same thing.  They have wonderful kids and it appears that their marriage is doing well too, so whatever works, I say!

borrriiinnnggg. I never watch that. I have my own drama. They should adopt 13 kids and pay to put them thru  college with the show. I wish everyone could adopt , and not just a healthy baby.....older kids need homes, too.

The only reason any magazine covers a story is because they think it will sell copies.  I'm sure they put bigger scum bags and shit heads in and on the mag, like, every single week.
