'Real Housewives of Orange County' Recap: Tamra Barney Gropes for Attention

Somewhere out there Tamra Barney's ex, Simon Barney, is saying, see what I had to put up with! after tonight's episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. It all started when Tamra and her hottie boy toy Eddie Judge invited Vicki Gunvalson and her new man Brooks Ayers to Catalina for a little getaway to celebrate Tamra's birthday.

You knew things weren't going to end well when Tamra started tweezing Eddie's nose and ear hair against his will in the limo; and it quickly became clear that their honeymoon phase was long, long behind them.

Over cocktails and licking, sucking, and shooting tequila shots, Vicki and Eddie start getting a little chummy, slapping hands, giggling, and having a good time. But Tamra, who has repeatedly shown that she can't handle anyone in the spotlight other than herself, just couldn't handle it.

"It’s like back off bitch, don’t touch my man," she told the camera. Then she proceeded to kill any and all fun by grabbing Brooks'  hand and putting it on her boob in a bizarre and extreme move of retaliation for Vicki and Eddie's flirty behavior. Vicki was surprisingly calm about the whole thing, while Eddie -- to his credit -- put Tamra in her place.

"Don't drink anymore," Tamra told Eddie.

"Don't act like a f***ing idiot anymore," Eddie told Tamra.

Maybe he's more than a pretty face and hot bod after all. As they left, Tamra continued to berate him, but he wasn't having any of it (even though they were oddly still holding  hands). "Holy shit what have I done?" she asked.

Shown your true colors? Maybe it was the alcohol talking, but she acted ridiculous. First of all, no disrespect to Vicki, but does Tamra really think Eddie would be interested her? I mean c'mon. Tamra is a stretch, but Vicki? Besides, her love cup is full of all the mushy cards Brooks gives her.

Earlier in the show at Vicki's southern party, Tamra also blew right through her honeymoon phase with her new secret BFF Gretchen Rossi when she accused her of getting her lips done -- loudly, in front of everyone. I tend to like Tamra and think she' a lot of fun, but she needs to learn to share the spotlight just a little and filter herself once in awhile or she's going to drive everyone away.

Also at the dinner party was Peggy Tanous who isn't a Housewife this season but showed up to bid her farewell I guess. She and Alexis Bellino, aka Jesus Barbie, had a final falling out, and she said she's done with the drama. That's fine; she was nice and all, but it wasn't like she added a whole lot to the plot anyway besides her past relationship with Jim. 

Plus, now we have Heather Dubrow who showed a little more drama promise this episode with her direct ways and oodles of money (That closet! That house!). There's definitely some potential there for her to bring out the jealousy and get into it with more than one of the ladies. Let's hope so anyway.

 I have honestly never watched this show to post my opinion on the flirting between Vicki & Eddie.

OMG! was it on last night (new episode)? I live in Europe now and have to get my RHOC/RHBH elsewhere.

I think OC needs some new and more saavy ladies..not all these vapid boring blondes..that's why I prefer RHBH a lot better now. how about you?
