Anderson, 45, says he ā€˜couldnā€™t be any more ā€¦ proudā€™ of his sexuality. And weā€™re proud of him for finally speaking out!

Anderson Cooperā€˜s sexuality has been a hot topic of conversation for years, and now in an interview with The Daily Beast, the famous newsman is setting the record straight ā€” so to speak. ā€œThe fact is, Iā€™m gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldnā€™t be any more happy, comfortable with myself, and proud,ā€ Anderson says in a statement.

Anderson has never wanted to make a big issue out of his sexuality, which is why itā€™s so appropriate that his first official comments appear in a story about public figures casually coming out. It should also be noted that Andersonā€™s comments about being gay appear as part of a much larger statement to the site.
