Marilyn Manson dismisses Avril Lavigne romance rumours

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson has poked fun at false rumours linking him to Avril Lavigne, insisting he would never date a Canadian.

Recent reports suggested the two musicians had become romantically involved, but Manson is adamant their is no love between the pair.

He tells celebrity website Entertainmentwise.com, "Yesterday I read that I was dating Avril Lavigne and I was like 'F**k I wouldn't do that, she's Canadian.' No offence to Canada. I know her, I accidentally shaved her head... but, you never know where these stories come from.

"Rumours, stories... I'm used to them. There's a different story every day. I'm amused by them, I find the creativity of them amusing. Sometimes I think they should be more creative, I'd like to read something unusual".

I like MM's music but he is not even slightly attractive so I would hope she wouldn't date him....although her ex-husband was pretty ugly too soooooo??? Maybe she should date me and be done with guys for awhile??
