Chick Fil A has made plenty of headlines recently for owner Dan Cathy's public statements against gay marriage. While the Jim Henson company recently pulled out of a kids meal promotion at the restaurant, the company has a voice of support in the form of Sarah Palin.
The former Alaska governor recently visited the chicken shop's Woodlands, Texas location with her husband, Todd, and posted a photo with the caption, "Stopped by Chick-fil-A in The Woodlands to support a great business."
The controversial post has already gotten more than 21,599 comments (and counting).
Palin has been vocal about her opposition against gay marriage, saying that she believes in "traditional marriage" between a man and a woman. In the past week, politicians from Boston to Chicago have publicly announced that they would not support Chick-fil-a restaurants in their municipalities due to Cathy's discriminatory views.
