Sylvester Stallone's sister Toni-Ann Filiti dies of lung cancer

Sylvester Stallone has suffered a second personal loss in two months with the passing of his half-sister, Toni-Ann Filiti, 52. Filiti lost her battle with lung cancer and passed away Sunday evening (Aug. 26), reports RadarOnline.

A close family member tells the site Toni-Ann had been suffering from stage four lung cancer and recently moved in with their mother, Jackie Stallone, for her final weeks. Toni is the daughter of Jackie and her second husband, Tony Filiti, whom Jackie married after divorcing Frank Stallone Sr., father to Frank Jr. and Sylvester.

An insider says, "After being in the ICU, she decided she wanted to die in the house so she could spend time with her family ... she passed away last night and it was somewhat expected."

Toni has one movie credit to her name, acting as Tonian D'Alto in "The Appointment" (pictured above). Her death comes just six weeks after Sylvester's son Sage Stallone, 36, was found deadin his apartment.
