Taylor Swift wants to know why everyone has to be so mean.
Taylor Swift Is Hurt By All the Jokes Being Made About Her Love Life: Report

The 23-year-old country superstar has had her fair share of break-ups, and it's beginning to bother her love life has become such a national punchline, especially following Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's jokes about her during the Golden Globes ceremony on January 13.
“At first, Taylor just thought it was funny how much interest people had in her love life, and she went along with it,” a source reveals to Radar Online.
“But now, she’s the butt of jokes on Saturday Night Live, in the tabloids, and on the late night shows," the source continues. "She laughed it off, but the jokes made about her at the Golden Globes got under her skin.”
However, is it possible that the jokes might also be doing Taylor some good?
“The jokes being made about her love life embarrass her, but it’s finally hit home with Taylor,” her friend says. “She really wants to make an effort to slow down and not jump from boyfriend to boyfriend."
"In a weird way, all the negative press has really opened her eyes and will be good for her!” says the friend.
But if Taylor doesn't jump from boyfriend to boyfriend, what will all her future songs be about?
I think she's a rich, smart, beautiful girl...and should be able to date who she wants, when she wants. I also see nothing wrong with writing songs about her life, including her relationships. What I do wonder....where are all the "girl power" women? The double standard is disgusting.
How many women have got love or relationships figured out by the age of 23? And why are people blaming her? She is a hopeless romantic but aren't most women? She may have been a victim of a Kennedy which has been known to happen to women on several occasions. Maybe these young men saw a naive girl and took advantage of her desire to be loved. But unfortunately, she will be burned for wanting to feel loved. People should be talking to her like a sister, daughter, or mother who cares about her well being instead of tearing her down like she has no feelings at all! If I were Tina Fey and Amy Poehler I would extend my sincerest apologies to Ms. Taylor.
Edit: Ms. Swift.
