Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are set to reunite for a follow-up to their hit cop comedy 21 Jump Street.

The actors brought the popular 1980s TV series back to life on the big screen last year (12) as they portrayed police officers who are sent back to school posing as students.

The movie proved to be a big hit with cinema-goers, grossing more than $201 million worldwide upon its release, and now studio bosses at Sony Pictures Entertainment are gearing up for a second installment.

Screenwriter Michael Bacall has already begun working on the sequel, although it is not yet known whether Phil Lord and Chris Miller will return to direct.

A release date has tentatively been set for 2014.

I didn't like the idea of the movie as a comedy because I watched the show and loved it.  It was filmed in New Orleans and Metairie and Harvey and the track scenes were filmed at my high school in Harvey, LA.  I did watch it on tv last week and couldn't stop laughing.  I loved it.  I want to see the next one when it comes out.  I was so wrong.

I just found out Oblivion was filmed here and Baton Rouge, and I know some of the scenes in Percy Jackson 2 was filmed here as well.  Parts of Twilight was filmed here as well.
