Guidelines - Updated 6/1/08 (Please review before you post)

Hi All,

The Cafe is for CafeMom members to talk with each other about serious or silly topics.

Anything that falls within that description is allowed here.

Rules at The Cafe:

• Please keep the conversation positive. - Negativity and attacks won’t be allowed.
• Please do not advertise.
• Please do not post links to other sites or advertise in siggys
• Please do not make posts promoting your group - Except in the appropriate sticky thread.
• Please do not ask members for votes.
• Please do not engage in arguments. - It’s OK to disagree and some questions will have many different kinds of answers. Let the person with the question decide what answer(s) is best for her – don’t argue with other people who answer the same question differently!
• Please do not complain about CafeMom guidelines, members or groups.
• Please do not curse excessively. - CafeMom is for moms, so we can have a little bit of adult language. But please try to do it in moderation, there could be little ones around! There will also occasionally be adult topics – this is allowed, within reason.
• Please report any inappropriate activity to CafeMom.
• Please follow the CafeMom Community Guidelines.
• If we feel a thread has degraded into arguments or violates group guidelines, we will temporarily lock the thread to remove posts and comments that violate group guidelines. We will re-open the thread, but if guideline violations continue the thread will be closed.
