No drama, but interesting question

I don't get it.  My husband can go to the bathroom 3 times and day and sit and read 30 minutes each time.  My girls and I, a couple minutes,  we are done and outta there.  Dad gets made fun of a lot in our home. 

I do it but I think its cause its the only time I get to sit down and read lol

me- im in and out... my boyfriend however can go in a sit for 20 mins reading car mags.

On my "longer" visits to the toilet, I do crossword puzzles :)

I love to take the JC Penney catalog with me. lol you should have asked what do you smoke while your in the bathroom.

I don't think it's weird at all. It's idle that you might as well be taking advantage of!

ive tried sending a text or scratching off lotto tickets while im on my 'longer' visits, lol

usually im done goin to the bathroom before i finish whatever i brought with me to do

My husband does that and I can't understand it, because I like to be in and out of that bathroom as quick as possible, life is too short!  I also think it is really nasty because you can't wash a book - he has a little pile of books in there and I call them his sh** books.

NO!  i used to have a guy roommate who would take my people magazines to read while he was doin his biz and once they were in there i considered them toxic.   then i couldn't read them!   it made me so mad!

I do read! I actually picked this habit up from my dad! He would go in and I would follow. After allowing the proper "airing out" and he would leave his reading material there and I would pick it up! Now any chance I get I read in there! I'm a stay at home mom so when my guy gets home I sneak into the bathroom and read while daddy and son play. Sometimes I read even after the shorter visits just to get a few mins of quiet reading in!!
