Since Halloween is on Saturday this year, I'm thinking about making some fun, ghoulish foods for lunch and/or dinner.

What about you?  Will you make some Halloween-themed food?

I found this in the Daily Buzz:  (Anybody else have other ideas?)

Yes but we did it this past weekend since Halloween weekend will be so busy. We made spider, monster, graveyard etc cupcakes, haystakes and mummy hotdogs for dinner. The kids had so much fun.

That's a good point.

I think the age of your kids makes a difference, too.  My twin teenagers are 16 and they eat anything, PLUS they think gross things are entertaining.

It might be fun this year to make edible eyeballs, etc. this year.  I'll let you all know!

My 8yo is like that too, if I can make something "gross" he will be more willing to eat it.  He never wanted to eat dates until I put one on top of a cup-cake and told him it was a 'cockroach'! ECK!  lol
