I don't really have any talents, but I have a "way" with animals...particularly cats, and I've been able to help many homeless animals find forever homes, as well as help many families with pet issues maintain their forever home status, when they may have otherwise called it quits. I started volunteering at a local shelter as soon as I turned 16, and though at that age, legally I wasn't supposed to even be able to come into contact with the animals (I was basically just supposed to file papers and hose out kennels, and change cat litter), within two weeks a position was created for me, and paperwork was filed (for liability reasons), and I was considered a "feline rehabilitation specialist" at that point, lol. It stuck, and now I have to maintain that role whether I like it or not, because they literally show up on my doorstep. I haven't decided yet whether it's a gift or a curse, lol.

I can sing - in fact, my whole family (minus my mom) is musically inclined.  My dad plays the guitar and sings, my sister used to play the flute and she sings as well - they both sing in the praise band at church.

Do you sing in public?

That's a nice talent to have!  I can play the piano but don't get much opportunity to practice anymore.

I'm a very competant seamstress.  I'm very, very good at laundry.  I can shine shoes; that was a college job, hubby LOVES this!

I am a great cook!  I love to cook for my family.  I'm not too shabby at baking either.  I make great pies!  I am always asked to make the pies!

I'm very good at finding dead people.  LOL....as in genealogy ....I've also been told many times  by many people that I'm an excellent writer.  I can also sew quite well when I feel like it.

Wow, I'm impressed!  I have never shined a shoe in my whole life!

(I can sew, but my machine is broken.)

Do you make pie crust from scratch?  What's your recipe?
