For 2000 years doctors looked at the world through the filter (belief) that 'bleeding was therapeutic'. Not until the general education of the public lead people to rebel against this mistake was it corrected. Today many look at the world through the belief that 'vaccines work'. ....

Is it cheaper than other places you would get a casket?

If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice.

I've never shopped around for caskets.

I plan on just being burried in like a cardboard box.  Will save my family a ton of money.

They can paint it.  It'll be pretty.

I'm not going to be embalmed either.  No point in it.  The reason that was started was because of the men who would die in war.  It would take quite some time to ship their body's back so they embalmed them to try to preserve them.  I believe it's like 3 or 4 days before you start to swell up naturally.

i'm all for it, my family can buy  a cheap casket from walmart and then that a way they would have more money for the other expenses. I see nothing wrong with it.
