i found this kitchen playset that is being sold brand new at a furniture store for 19.95 (!!!) it is normally $40-50 every where else i looked. The only problem is my child is turning one in december and the age recommendation is 3+. I still think i should get it, if only to save it for later, or i could just put away anything that could hurt her and let her have it now. It makes noises and lights up and everything. She is already walking, has been for 2 months now, so I know she could "play" with it, though maybe not the way a 3 yr. old would. what do you think? I mean, it's a great deal.....

  • My son is only 5months and if I saw it for only 20 bucks I'd still buy and just put it up in the attic till he was old enough. You should get it

I'm a young mother of two, 1 girl and 1 boy. I'm married to their amazing daddy.I proudly  exclusively breastfeed and I do it in public. I love baby wearing and co-sleeping I don't believe in C.I.O. or spanking.I use disposable diapers, I'm pro-choice. I forward face after 1 year. I think TV can be a great babysitter. I want 10 kids. I'm a non smoker and a non drinker. I don't care what people think, I know that I am doing whats right for my children.

  • If it were me I would get it and take out the stuff that was too small for her and just let her play with it.  It looks pretty sturdy too so if she pulls herself up on it you would not have to worry about it falling on her.  I did something similar with a Fisher-Price dollhouse when my daughter was 1 and she loved it.  My mom had got a great deal on it and could not pass up buying it for my daughter.  We just took the small things out (which there weren't many) and gave her the people and the bigger furniture pieces, it ended up being the thing she played with most.  Have fun :)

  • Was it a national chain? I have been looking at that set for my son... I can justify spending $20 on something like that, for sure!
